A former British soldier with a new book to sell says Prince Harry stood up for him against infantry members he feared were plotting a homophobic attack. James Wharton, author of the new "Out in the Army," told the UK Daily Mail that after he was threatened by six soldiers in 2008, he confided in his tank's superior officer, and then-Lt. Harry Wales promptly confronted the men. "I will always be grateful to Harry," he said. No comment from the military or the palace. (
